Valve is a control part in pipeline transportation system

Release time: 2020-02-01

A valve is a control component in a pipeline transportation system, which can be used to control the flow of various types of fluids such as air, water, steam, various corrosive media, muds, oils, liquid metals and radioactive media. Valves also play a large role in the pharmaceutical industry. According to statistics, there are currently more than 3,000 valve manufacturing enterprises in China that can produce gate valves, throttle valves, ball valves, globe valves, butterfly valves, diaphragm valves, control methods, etc. to meet the requirements and needs of various fields. In the context of the rapid development of the pharmaceutical and other industries, the valve market is bound to usher in a good development space. In terms of market share, in recent years, with the rise of the domestic brand of valve companies and the maturity of valve technology, the share of imported valves in the domestic market has gradually declined, and domestic valves have achieved effective substitution. According to statistics, from January to December 2018, the number of imported valves in China was 1.03997 million, a year-on-year decrease of 2.1%; from January to December 2018, the value of imported valves in China was US $ 7328128 million, an increase of 20% year-on-year. Take control valves as an example. At present, domestic control valve manufacturers are mainly concentrated in Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Shanghai. According to relevant information, in 2017, among the top 50 companies in China's control valve manufacturer geographic distribution, there were 6 in Zhejiang, 4 in Jiangsu, and 6 in Shanghai. It can be seen that one-third has achieved localization, and this proportion is still increasing. The improvement of domestic valve market share cannot be achieved without the improvement of valve quality. On January 3, 2019, Anhui Provincial Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision announced the results of the 2018 provincial supervision and inspection of valve products. It is reported that 10 spot manufacturers in Hefei, Wuhu, Chizhou, and Tongling were spot-checked this time. 10 samples were sampled. Nine samples were qualified, and the sampling pass rate was 90%. It is reported that this provincial supervision and spot check is a comprehensive survey of the valve manufacturer's product quality in Anhui Province, which can basically reflect the current status of valve product quality in Anhui Province. It can be seen that domestically produced valves can basically guarantee quality and help enterprises stabilize production. In terms of valve technology, many valve companies are now realizing the deep integration of valve industry informatization and industrialization through intelligent control processes and modern precision management to promote the better localization of China's valves. For example, some valve companies invest about 80 million yuan in scientific and technological innovation each year, of which more than 50 million yuan are invested in research and development alone. During this period, the company also presided over the completion of a number of national scientific research projects, and through technological innovation, made its valve products have the competitiveness of the international market, and promoted the progress of the overall technical level of China's control valve industry. However, from the perspective of the overall technology level, industry experts believe that because valve manufacturers are mostly small and medium-sized, most valve companies still need to break through competition barriers through technological innovation, thereby improving their profit margins. At the same time, companies must increase investment in brand channel construction to increase brand penetration. In the long run, with the increasing concentration of the industry, the intensified competition in the valve market in the future is unavoidable. For valve companies, only by participating in competition can there be long-term development and the pressure can be continuously broken. Therefore, if valve companies want to achieve better results, they also need to strengthen themselves, improve their competitiveness, and use products to speak.
