Main performance of ball valve

Especially in recent years, with the breakthroughs in new structures, new materials and processing technology, its application scope has become more and more extensive. It can be used in various media, pressure and temperature conditions, and the diameter range is also expanding.
The working principle of the ball valve is that the external force acts on the upper end of the valve rod and drives the closing part (ball) to rotate 90 ° around the center line of the valve body to complete the functions of cutting off, connecting, distributing or changing the flow direction of the valve.
Structural features
1. When the ball valve is fully open and fully closed, the sealing surfaces of the ball and valve seat are isolated from the medium, so the medium passing through the valve at high speed will not cause the erosion of the sealing surface.
2. The ball valve has simple structure, good sealing performance and small opening and closing torque.
3. It has the lowest flow resistance (practically close to zero).
4. Reduced or full diameter.
5. Flange end face or butt weld end face.
6. Soft sealing ball valves are equipped with fire and anti-static devices.
7. The valve rod is designed to prevent blowout, which can prevent the valve rod from ejecting from the valve body due to improper operation.
8. Connecting plate capable of supporting various drive devices. The drive device includes handle, worm gear, electric, pneumatic, pneumatic, electro-hydraulic linkage, etc.
9. Convenient position adjustment. When the actuator is replaced or installed online, the position of the ball hole cannot be seen clearly. BTL ball valve provides a special "positioning slot", which can easily and accurately find the full open and close position of the ball valve. It is convenient to adjust the limit device of the actuator.
10. For valves with welded ends, the end material (transition section) of the valve can be adjusted in response to the user's pipe material grade to ensure the adaptability and weldability of the material strength. For valves with sleeves at both ends, the length of sleeves can ensure that the on-site welding operation will not affect the sealing material.
11. Buried design. For buried valves, the valve rod shall be lengthened according to the needs of the project to facilitate operation on the ground, and the corresponding greasing, blowdown and venting devices shall be extended from the pipe to the ground.
